Adult Basic Education (ABE):

ABE classes build foundational skills in reading, writing, and math to support student’s educational, employment, and personal goals. These classes are designed for learners who need to strengthen their basic skills before advancing to GED classes or workforce training.

GED:

The GED consists of four content areas -

  •     Mathematics

  •     Science

  •     Social Studies 

  •     Reasoning Through Language Arts including Extended Response

                                                                                

To demonstrate a high school equivalency skill level, a score of 145 must be achieved.

National External Diploma Program (NEDP)

Flexible and Self-Paced: The NEDP (National External Diploma Program) is a self-paced, web-based program designed for adults to demonstrate high school-level skills through real-world tasks and projects.

​

Completion Timeline: Most participants complete the program within 12 to 18 months, depending on their pace and prior knowledge.

 

Flexible Participation Options: Work independently at home or during scheduled class hours, based on your schedule and preferences.

English Language Acquisition & Citizenship

  • Small group classes.

  • Multi-leveled classes available - learn survival & conversational English up to advanced.  

  • Job readiness vocabulary & skills integrated into lessons.

  • Assistance with Citizenship prep. 

​

Integrated Education and Training (IET)

IET classes help you build the skills you need for a job while improving your reading, writing, or math. Through partnerships with technical schools and community colleges, these programs let you train for a career in fields like healthcare, construction, manufacturing, or transportation while also strengthening the basic skills needed for success at work and in life.

ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)

The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) class helps you prepare for the WorkKeys assessments in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. Earning a CRC shows employers you have the essential skills needed for success in a variety of jobs and industries.
